Use this converter when you need an image of a PDF page packaged as an SVG file. If you need editable logos, selectable text or individual shapes, use a PDF editor with vector export instead. Keep the original PDF for later editing.
How to convert a PDF page to SVG
Step 1: Choose a PDF file
Select one PDF or drag it into the converter. The file picker accepts files up to the displayed 100 MB limit; large or complex pages may still exceed browser memory.
Step 2: Check which page you need
This page exports the first page of the PDF. To convert a different page, first save that page as a separate PDF. This interface does not provide a page selector or export every page at once.
Step 3: Convert and inspect the result
Click Convert to SVG and wait for processing to finish. Check the preview and read the notice about the embedded image. Small text and fine lines should be checked at the size you intend to use.
Step 4: Download the SVG
Download the completed file and open it in your target browser or editor. Enlarging the SVG cannot recover detail beyond the embedded PNG resolution.
What the SVG contains
The converter uses PDF.js to render the first page to a canvas, saves that rendering as a PNG, and embeds the PNG in an SVG image element. It does not trace the page or extract its text, layers or vector paths.

- PDF links, forms, selectable text and layers are not preserved as interactive or editable elements.
- Changing the SVG display dimensions does not add detail to the embedded image.
- Password-protected or unusually large pages may fail to render in this interface.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does this extract vector paths from a PDF?
No. The converter renders a page as a PNG and places that image inside an SVG. The SVG extension does not make the page text or shapes editable vectors.
Can I convert every page in a PDF?
This interface exports only the first page of one PDF at a time. It does not offer multi-page export or batch conversion. Save another page as a separate PDF if you need to convert it.
Can I change the output dimensions?
The width and height fields change the SVG display dimensions. They do not increase the resolution of the embedded page image or convert pixels into paths.
How large a PDF can I choose?
The current file picker allows files up to 100 MB. Successful conversion also depends on page dimensions, complexity and available browser memory; a file below that limit can still fail.
Will the result stay sharp when enlarged?
The embedded PNG has a fixed pixel resolution. Enlarging it can reveal pixels or soften fine details. Inspect the result at the size you intend to use.
How long will conversion take?
Processing time depends on the PDF page and your device. Wait for the completed result or an error message before downloading; there is no fixed completion-time guarantee.
