The brief called for a rounded shield containing a simple mint leaf with navy outlines, without lettering, gradients, shadows, or tiny details. The edit asked: "Change only the mint green fill of the leaf to warm orange. Keep the navy shield, navy leaf veins, composition, shape and size unchanged." The leaf changed from rgb(133,211,171) to rgb(251,142,52), but navy also shifted from rgb(5,36,72) to rgb(5,39,76), path coordinates changed, and the viewBox tightened. The files are 4,646 and 6,560 bytes respectively; both contain three paths. To change only the fill while keeping the rest identical, edit the color directly in a vector or code editor.

At 24px, the interior detail is dense, and the navy outline is hard to see on a dark surface. The manually finished version and size comparison shows one way to address those limits. A wordmark would need a separate spelling and spacing check; this symbol has no lettering.

All six files contain vector paths, use viewBox="0 0 2048 2048", and have no embedded raster images.

For example, the Velora brief asked for #4F46E5, but its SVG contains rgb(57,47,134) and rgb(66,71,72). The Studio Hex brief requested #DC2626, while the file contains rgb(224,50,48). Set final brand colors explicitly in a vector or code editor and keep the original for comparison.

Choose one style direction. At 24px, judge the symbol alone; at header size, check every letter and the space between mark and wordmark.

Pattern 3: reference image + correction prompt + AI Edit

Upload an owned reference and state the difference: Keep the leaf idea and two-color palette. Remove the enclosing badge and make a horizontal wordmark concept. Save the result before trying a second change such as Increase the space between the mark and the name.

Compare shape bounds, exact spelling, color values, and background after the edit. Reject an attractive revision if it changes a requirement you needed to keep.

When To Finish In A Vector Editor

A logo needs a separate finishing pass when spacing, exact curves, lettering, or color values are part of the brief. Use Inkscape, Figma, or Illustrator to inspect paths and make those adjustments.

1. Save logo-source.svg unchanged.
2. Create logo-finished.svg with exact palette values and corrected lettering.
3. Make a mark-only variant for 24px use; a full wordmark usually needs more horizontal space.
4. Test light and dark backgrounds and remove unintended white-filled backdrop shapes.
5. Export a review sheet with the requested dimensions and include source/final files in the handoff.
