Cedar Cup avatar: crop previews
Fictional demonstration. Every preview below is the same file, cedar-cup-avatar-400.png, scaled by your browser and clipped with CSS. These are simulations of the crops platforms document, not screenshots of any platform.
The circles use display sizes from platform help pages: 196, 176 and 36 px (Facebook Page profile pictures on phones, computers and feature phones) and 98 px (YouTube profile pictures). The square and the rounded square stand in for square avatars and small rounded corners.

On a dark interface
The background is opaque (#F4EDE0), so the dark green mark keeps its contrast on both. The artwork's farthest point is 40% of the width from the center, so it stays inside a circle crop with a ring of background around it.
